What You’ll Do
As an Power Systems Studies Engineer, you’ll:
- Produce and review steady state compliance studies for projects up to 132kV
- Focus primarily on: Load Flow, Fault Level Analysis, Reactive Power Capability, P28/29 Power Quality, Protection Coordination Studies, Harmonic Studies,
- Manage simulation studies for power generation connections
- Update and compile company standards to develop in house simulation
- Provide relevant technical support to electrical design engineers
What We’re Looking For – Engineering
- Degree qualified or equivalent in Electrical Engineering
- Demonstrable experience Simulation Studies
- Experience working with simulation studies software, for example: Digsilent/Powerfactory, PSCAD, ETAP, IPSA
- Strong technical knowledge of power engineering
- A postgraduate qualification in Power Systems is advantageous
- Full UK driving licence & Right to Work in the UK
- Chartered or working toward IEng/CEng (IET)
