Skillset and Experience

• Degree, HND, HNC, Apprenticeship or relative experience in engineering, including machine shop experience looking to progress into manufacturing or equivalent HM forces experience.
• Knowledge of Manufacturing Techniques, either – machining, casting, moulding, joining methods, additive manufacturing
• Knowledge of Mechanical Design
• Understanding of Design to Manufacture
• Understanding the key principals of Lean Six Sigma
• Out-turned apprentice or Graduate in Mech Eng. or Manufacturing
• Some knowledge of material and metallurgy
• Logical thought and problem solving
• Computer literate in the writing of technical reports and presenting technical information
• Preparation of manufacturing documentation
• Influencing stakeholders
• Teamwork
• Interpersonal skills
