Thames Water

This programme supports experienced STEM professionals returning after a career break or transferring their skills into a different sector, including one they have worked in previously. Standard recruitment processes can overlook the skills and experience these candidates offer.

Roles typically begin with a 12-week paid placement, with the aim of progressing into permanent employment with the host organisation. A permanent role is not guaranteed, but 96% of candidates who join our programmes go on to secure permanent employment with their host organisation.

Candidates receive free CV support and interview coaching. Those who secure a placement also receive coaching and mentoring to support their return or transition and help them thrive in the role.

Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK without requiring employer sponsorship, as visa sponsorship is not available through these programmes. We warmly welcome applications from people of all backgrounds and value the diverse skills, experiences and perspectives returners bring.
