How do you design radar systems that don’t just perform — but endure?

At Leonardo, we have an opportunity for an Electronics Engineer to join our Supportability team. The Supportability function has a unique position within our business as it is involved in all stages of a programme, from initial development and production through to customer support, repairs and eventual disposal.

What you will do as Electronics Engineer – Supportability:

• Work within Integrated Project Teams on Leonardo’s upcoming Radar projects
• Analyse electronic designs to determine and model product Reliability
• Influence design decisions through Reliability, Availability, Maintainability and Testability (RAMT) analysis
• Create and maintain Failure Modes Effects Analysis (FMEA/FMECA)
• Support the development of robust, supportable electronic systems across the product lifecycle

What you’ll bring

• Understanding of circuit diagrams and electronic component selection
• Experience analysing electronic designs within an engineering environment
• Knowledge of Reliability, Availability, Maintainability and Testability (RAMT) principles
• Experience creating or contributing to FMEA/FMECA analysis
• An Honours degree in Electronics Engineering or a science-based discipline, or equivalent relevant industry or defence experience
